If your payment has been declined at checkout, don't worry — it's usually something straightforward that can be resolved quickly. Here are the most common reasons and what to do about each one.
Your bank or card issuer has declined the payment Banks sometimes decline payments automatically for security reasons or as part of their internal fraud prevention. This is the most common reason for a declined payment and has nothing to do with your order or our website. Unfortunately we have no visibility of why your bank has declined a payment — please contact your bank or card issuer directly and they'll be able to advise.
Your card details are incorrect or out of date Double check that your card number, expiry date, billing address and CVV are all entered correctly and are up to date. Even a small typo can cause a payment to fail.
PayPal If you're paying with PayPal and your payment was declined, there may be a limitation or issue with your PayPal account. Log into your PayPal account directly to check for any alerts or outstanding actions. You can also visit PayPal's support page for further help.
Klarna If your Klarna payment was declined, this is likely due to an issue with your Klarna account or eligibility for the payment plan selected. Please visit Klarna's help page to check your account and resolve any issues there.
American Express If you're paying with AMEX and your payment was declined, please double check your card details are entered correctly. If everything looks correct, please contact American Express directly as we're unable to see the reason for the decline on our end. You can visit American Express support for help.
Still having trouble? If you've checked all of the above and are still unable to complete your payment, please get in touch with our support team and we'll do our best to help.
